The newly formed International Civil Aviation Organization TRAINAIR PLUS Steering Committee (ICAO TPSC) held its first virtual meeting of the term 2021 – 2024.

With ‘membership through miles’ global aviation training breaks barriers. All Members are looking forward to start analysing the concepts of the new framework in order to provide feedback to GAT. With expertise and advice from the TPSC, we can focus on the benefits and values for the TPP network and community, and ultimately for the harmonization of aviation training worldwide.
- GAT, on the first meeting
It was an exciting first experience as Chair which I have humbly embraced with strong commitment and enthusiasm. I am impressed at the level of cooperation from both the GAT team and the Committee Members. The support received from the Vice-Chair Ahmed Hoummady (LCCTC Aviation Academy) and second Vice-Chair André Rebouças (ANAC - Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil) was very important and contributed to the seamless pillar of chairmanship. Fully cooperating with ICAO GAT, I am confident that the committee’s work will result in fantastic milestones”.
