JAA Training Organisation reinforces its commitment to capacity building and regulatory excellence at a key forum for European civil aviation cooperation

Against the stunning architectural backdrop of historic Cracow, the 164th meeting of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) convened on 28 May, bringing together Directors General of Civil Aviation from across Europe. This distinguished forum remains a cornerstone for strategic dialogue and cooperation among ECAC’s 44 Member States.

Hosted by Urząd Lotnictwa Cywilnego (CAA Poland), the meeting offered an invaluable opportunity for leaders in European civil aviation to deliberate on critical issues shaping the future of the sector. Discussions focused on key priorities such as enhancing aviation safety, promoting environmental sustainability, ensuring operational resilience, and achieving greater regulatory alignment within Europe’s complex airspace.

Since its inception, ECAC has served as an essential platform for fostering consensus and harmonising policies, while strengthening Europe’s engagement with global aviation partners. Its enduring mission to promote a safe, efficient, and sustainable air transport system continues to guide collaborative efforts across the continent.

During the Cracow meeting, JAA TO had the pleasure of showcasing its latest initiatives and ongoing contributions to the European aviation community. The JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO) is a Dutch non-profit, self-financing organisation and the Associated Body of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC). JAA TO has a history of 50+ years training the aviation industry and national authorities on regulation in the air transport sector.
