    JAA TO Participates in EUR/NAT-DGCA/2025, Reinforcing Commitment to Capacity-Building and Regulatory Training Excellence

    On 17 June 2025, the Meeting of Directors General of Civil Aviation of the ICAO EUR/NAT Regions (EUR/NAT-DGCA/2025) convened, gathering senior leaders from more than 54 States across the EUR/NAT region and beyond. 

    This distinguished high-level forum served as a vital platform for expert presentations, interactive discussions, and strategic dialogue on current and emerging challenges within the aviation sector.

    At the forefront of this year’s agenda were critical topics including workforce planning, addressing training gaps, and alleviating skills shortages. In this context, JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO) was proudly represented by Chief Executive Officer, Paula V. de Almeida, LL.M., M.Ed.; Director of Sales, Marketing & Operations, Murat Yalcin; and Director of Business Solutions & Strategic Partnerships, Eric Schoonderwoerd.
    JAA TO seized the opportunity to highlight its latest developments and achievements, thereby underscoring its steadfast commitment to supporting States and organisations through comprehensive capacity-building initiatives and tailored regulatory training solutions. Such initiatives are designed to help aviation stakeholders meet present and future regulatory and operational demands with confidence.

    The meeting was officially opened by the President of the ICAO Council, Mr Salvatore Sciacchitano, together with ICAO Secretary General, Mr Juan Carlos Salazar. JAA TO also acknowledges and commends the valuable leadership of Mr Nicolas Rallo, ICAO EUR/NAT Regional Director, and Mr Elkhan Nahmadov, ICAO EUR/NAT Deputy Regional Director, in further advancing cooperation and strategic alignment across the region.

    The JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO) is a Dutch non-profit, self-financing organisation and the Associated Body of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).
